Brian Roulston

Brian was General Manager - Administration/Group Secretary for Fay Richwhite & Company Limited until May 1991.  In his 10 years with Fay Richwhite, Brian was responsible for the administration of merchant banking activities and the management of investment activities including the investment portfolio, farms, forestry projects, and the company's property developments.  Brian earlier spent 12 years in Cropper-NRM division of Wattie Industries, in a business development role.
Brian left Fay Richwhite to develop several of his own business interests.  These include Servcorp New Zealand Limited, Alectus Recruitment Consultants Limited, Legal & Professional Investment Services and activities in the forestry, farming and venture capital investment areas. 

Brian is a member of the Institute of Directors and is a director of several other companies including Chairman of Aviation Services Limited.  He served on the Aviation Advisory Committee during its review of the operations of the Civil Aviation Authority in 1994, and in 1995 provided project management and secretariat services for the review of the New Zealand kiwifruit industry. Until March 2002, Brian was a director of the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation (ATTTO). In the last two years with the ATTTO, Brian was Executive Chairman, responsible for an extensive reorganisation and development of new strategy for that organisation.

His interest in the personal investment field led to the formation of Legal & Professional Investment Services Ltd, now part of Diversified. Legal & Professional Investment Services now specialises in corporate administration, including among its clients the Law Retirement Plan Superannuation Scheme; and a listed company in the oil exploration industry.
