Phil holds a Graduate Diploma of Business Studies (endorsed financial planning) from Massey University as well as a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in 1995 from Waikato University. Phil is a member of the Institute of Financial Advisers (IFA) and has the internationally recognised mark of CFP^CM Certified Financial Planner.

Phil’s initial career was as an operational planner in the Dairy Industry, while he enjoyed his job and the opportunity to live in a variety of locations across New Zealand and Australia, his real passion was financial planning and investment advice. For this reason he changed careers and joined Diverisifed back in 2008.
