Alan Chisholm

Advisory Board

Alan Chisholm is Director of Crown Institute of Studies, one of New Zealand’s leading Private Training Establishments, specialising in vocational, business and language training for New Zealand and international students.  He has been self-employed for over 20 years since leaving the oil and gas industry, where he worked in Europe, Asia and the US for 10 years.

Alan holds a BSc in geology and physics from the University of Auckland and has completed Masters level papers from the University of Otago MBA Programme, where he was awarded the Sheffield Associates annual achievement award in 1984.

He has served as Secretary of English New Zealand and is a past chair of the AUT Education Advisory Committee.  Alan has consulted as a specialist Asian investment advisor to Diversified Investment Strategies for the past 15 years.
